I am sitting in front of an open window as I write this, enjoying spring-like weather in early March. The same seems to have been true of the week of March 8th in 2012 because spring was the theme: These little snow drops are fused and stitched using batiks.

#TBT – Journal Quilt Week 33

This week’s journal quilt was one of my favorites because of the cool batiks and the silver threads used to create bare winter trees.  I made it the week of January 5th, 2012, and it just makes me think of the hush of a winter blanket of snow.
