Week 15 of the Journal Quilt project in 2011 brought Labor Day and the end of summer, celebrated with attendance at Lobster Fest, an annual fundraiser supporting The Berkshire National Fish Hatchery. I think that my lobster was a little overstuffed because sewing around it ended up being quite a challenge (as you can guess from all of the wrinkles in the quilt), but it was fun to use some of my sewing machine stitches for the antennae.
