A year ago I don’t think that I could have done this exercise; I would have spent the time thinking about all of the things on my to do list that weren’t getting done. But, I’m relaxing a bit so I found the hour meditative and enjoyable. I did not, however, get any shots that blew my socks off. Still, I had great fun playing with my zoom lens.
This week’s assignment: stand in one spot for an hour taking pictures. You can see my spot in the photo in the top left of this montage – the edge of my deck. The best of the photos I took are the remaining ones. Nothing worth framing, but not a terrible way to spend an hour either.
