I am thrilled to be joining the Arlington Center for the Arts 22nd Annual Arlington Open Studios on Saturday, November 14, 2020. The ACA has reimagined the format of this year’s event to take place virtually and there are many opportunities to meet and support local artists, while also enjoying a full schedule of live and streamed activities and events throughout the day!
The ACA will be presenting over 60 participants this year through the virtual event! Participating artists (like me!) are presenting a range of mediums including painting, photography, fiber, ceramics, glass, fine jewelry, mixed media, printmaking, and sculpture. They are also welcoming a selection of arts-related businesses and nonprofit organizations this year as well!
The venue may be different from years past, but the same great energy of sharing and celebration of the arts will be here for all to enjoy!
Elements of this year’s event include:
AOS Online Artist Directory
This is an online gallery experience where visitors can view creations, projects, and programs from each of our participants! They also include links to participants’ websites and online stores. The Online Directory will be presented on the ACA website and will start November 14 and run through December 31, 2020
AOS Online Artist Market
Check out a great selection of original artwork created by this year’s participants available for purchase! The Online Market opens on November 14 and will remain open through the holiday season. A great opportunity to shop local this year!
Live and Streamed Content
Artists will be creating content including demos, studio tours, and artist talks that is streamable any time during the day. The ACA is also presenting a schedule of live events including performances, poetry readings, artist demos, and more!
I’ll be LIVE from my studio at 1:00 – 1:30 PM ET on Saturday. Check out the ACA Arlington Open Studios page for the link to the live stream.
