Exercise #1 in Stage Ten of the Creativity Journey – Keeping Your Light Alive
Imagine that you are walking into your home after months away on a long journey. What does your space look like with fresh eyes? Perhaps you too now see a thick layer of dust not as a failing to meet some cultural standards of cleanliness but as proof that you’ve been doing more important things. What else have you realized no longer serves you? As you traveled on your journey you metaphorically shed things from your pack. Are there things now in your space that you also no longer need? Clear away the debris from your old life and donate the possessions that don’t represent who you are now.
