Protest Series

The Protest series emerged unexpectedly. I didn’t set out to make political statements in cloth, but as I found my voice as an artist, I discovered how much I had to say about women’s rights, racism, xenophobia, and mass shootings. These quilts became both witness and outcry, stitching my convictions into form.
