The first piece in a series of cyanotypes on fabrics, this wall quilt is comprised of three individual cyanotype prints of fern leaves on fabric. Each print has been mounted on a stiff fiber interfacing and quilted. The edges of the individual prints are finished with a statin stitch in black thread and then sewn to a cotton batik background quilt.
Black cotton backing and binding.
Black cotton hanging sleeve / rod pocket has been hand-sewn to the back for easy hanging.
